3 Hour Diet

Posted by

I’ve seen it once, I’ll probably see it again. The 3 Hour Diet is a celebrity based diet that also offers a “free trial offer” to help you to lose weight fast! The 3 hours is not actually a “3 hour diet.” It just means that you get to eat every 3 hours adding up to 2-3 times per day. If you keep those meals small, it’s not a bad idea, and it does work to keep your metabolism up and

Of course, if all you’re eating is fatty foods, you won’t lose weight, and if you eat huge portions every meal, you will probably gain weight. But that’s beside the point. The point is that this is actually pretty typical. With this in mind, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work. But I do have some doubts.

It’s Promoted By a Celebrity

Frankly, this sounds like a good thing to a lot of people, and I understand why. Why wouldn’t you want to listen to a celebrity or celebrity trainer? But what you have to realize is that celebrity trainers don’t know anything more than the average trainer, and most celebrities are known for going to unhealthy extremes.

The 3 Hour Diet technically only promises to help you to lose 2 pounds per week, which is actually a healthy amount. But at the same time, it’s not the extreme weight loss that one might expect from a celebrity expert.

It Uses a “Free Trial Offer”

3 Hour Diet supposedly has coaching, support groups, diet plans, etc. all with a “7 day free trial offer.” But frankly, free trial offers are never actually a good thing. And you might not want to pay the bill when it comes. It often means that most people would leave if the diet, the 3 Hour Diet were to give you the real facts.

In this case, the 3 Hour Diet charges you about $65 every 13 weeks. That’s not as pricy as a personal trainer, even though personal trainers are getting more affordable every day. But I would expect to get a little more for my money than eat every 3 hours and cut down your portion sizes for even that kind of money.

Why You Might Still Buy 3 Hour Diet

The 3 Hour Diet, if you take it a little further and make healthy food choices, could provide support and a way to lose weight. If you do it right, there are definitely ways that you could succeed. It may not be the most original approach. But it keeps you largely full, and it does have some good principles behind it.
